National Use Your Gift Card Day encourages spending unused holiday gift cards

Many holiday gift cards go unused and forgotten in drawers or purses. Today is National Use Your Gift Card Day, founded by Tracy Tilson five years ago to encourage people to spend their gift cards before they expire.
