Malnutrition deaths have doubled in the U.S. since 2018 -- what to know
Malnutrition deaths in the United States have more than doubled since 2018, and it’s impacting one group in particular. People 85 and older die from malnutrition at a rate about 60 times higher than the rest of the American population. Ashlee Carnahan, a registered dietitian with Henry Ford Health, joined Local 4 Live to talk about what malnutrition looks like in adults and what can be done to identify early warning signs.
