Plymouth-Canton Schools gets $5M investment to boost STEM

Plymouth-Canton Community Schools and Orsa Credit Union have established a 25-year partnership to create the Orsa Hub, a $5 million innovation center at Canton High School designed to enhance hands-on learning opportunities for students. The hub will offer programs in robotics, artificial intelligence, digital storytelling, and more, with support from educators and local industry mentors, aiming to prepare students for future careers. The initiative also includes scholarships and support for girls in STEM, mental health, and student-centered programming, with a phased launch starting in spring 2026. The Orsa Hub is expected to serve as a districtwide resource, fostering collaboration and community engagement.
