Stabbing on Oakland University's campus -- What we know

The lockdown at Oakland University has been lifted following a stabbing incident involving two suspects. The incident occurred on Thursday, Feb. 5, around 8:15 p.m. when police received multiple calls reporting a fight outside Van Wagoner Hall. Officers found a victim suffering multiple stab wounds who was transported to McLaren Hospital and is being prepped for surgery. The victim was not a student. Witnesses described two suspects: one a Black man in his early 20s, about 5-foot-8 to 5-foot-10, wearing a black North Face jacket, black pants, and white shoes with blue on the back, with chin-length dreadlocks. The second suspect is also a Black man in his early 20s, wearing a camouflage jacket with a black hood, black pants, and black shoes, with curly hair. Both suspects fled the scene in a dark-colored SUV.
