Michigan lawmakers propose bill after Local 4 investigation into auto insurance claim denials

Michigan lawmakers are proposing new legislation in response to a series of Local 4 investigations that pulled back the curtain on how some Michigan families’ car insurance claims are getting denied and their coverage canceled because they didn’t list their kids, who don’t drive, on their policy.
