Ring ends partnership with Flock Safety

Ring is cancelling its controversial partnership with license-plate camera company Flock Safety. You might remember our Shawnte Passmore did a story on the partnership earlier this month. The plan would have let police use Ring's community requests features to get video for active investigation. It sparked concerns that Ring would share video with ICE.  Flock and Ring call it a mutual decision to end the partnership because it would have required more time and resources than expected. Ring says no videos were shared.
