Southfield bridge club members withstands test of time

The Southfield Civic Center Bridge Club, comprising members in their 90s and older, challenges stereotypes about aging with their active and independent lifestyles. Key members like Frances Clemmons, 101, and Char Rosenbaum, 97, emphasize the importance of staying active, maintaining a positive attitude, and forming social connections. Despite physical challenges and the loss of peers, members find joy in simple pleasures, companionship, and family support. The group values kindness, routine, and the shared experience of aging, finding inspiration and motivation in each other's company.
