Community shaken as police respond to shots fired at Temple Israel in West Bloomfield

A car crashed into a Jewish temple in West Bloomfield, and shots were fired after the crash, according to police. Oakland County deputies confirmed there’s an “active situation” at the Temple Israel at 5725 Walnut Lake Road in West Bloomfield Township, near the intersection of Walnut Lake and Drake roads.
