Northern Michigan cleaning up after strong winter storms

Toppled trees and power lines are what many communities are waking up to in Northern Michigan Wednesday morning.  A historic snowfall is bringing life to a standstill -- as homes and businesses wait for urgent repairs.  Marquette County is still shoveling the more than three feet of snow it got.  Seven counties are under a state of emergency declared by the governor due to the extreme weather. It's easy to see why when you look at all of the power outages Consumers Energy is reporting. Higgins Lake is one of those communities. That's where we sent our Nick Monacelli for a closer look at the damage.
