Students practice tornado safety plans during Michigan Severe Weather Awareness Week

Students in Michigan participated in a statewide tornado drill as part of Michigan Severe Weather Awareness Week to practice severe weather safety. At Ridge Wood Elementary, daily weather discussions are routine, but on this day, the focus shifted to the significance of understanding and preparing for severe weather.
