Metro Detroit weather forecast, March 25, 2026 -- 4 p.m. Update

A new report on Metro Detroit’s economy is raising some red flags, especially regarding state income levels. Michigan’s ranking has fallen from 18th in the nation in 2000 to 40th in 2024. The “state of the region” report from the Detroit Regional Chamber shows Metro Detroit is now near the bottom among peer cities in several key areas. To help Local 4 break down the findings is Detroit Regional Chamber President and CEO Sandy Baruah.
