Artemis 2 crew prepares for first lunar flyby in more than 50 years

NASA is preparing for the Artemis II mission, which will send a crew of four astronauts on a journey around the moon -- the first time humans have traveled beyond Earth's orbit in over 50 years. The mission features the powerful SLS rocket and the Orion space capsule, which will launch from Kennedy Space Center for a 10-day flight. The crew includes Commander Reid Wiseman, Mission Specialists Christina Koch and Jeremy Hansen, and Pilot Victor Glover. This mission represents a critical test flight for deep space exploration, marking historic milestones for both NASA and Canada.
