‘They’re trying to cover it up’: Mom says son quit Fowlerville wrestling after urine hazing incident

A Livingston County mother says her 15-year-old son quit the Fowlerville High School wrestling team after being urinated on by another student in the locker-room showers, alleging insufficient action and accountability from the school district. Despite reporting the incident to the coach, athletic director, and school administrators, the accused student continued to compete and no visible changes were made, prompting the mother to file a police report. The longtime wrestling coach resigned soon after the incident, but as of April 2026, the family has not received further communication or resolution from the district, which cites privacy laws in declining to comment on specific actions.
