Coffee could benefit brain health, study finds
A new study published in the Journal of the American Medical Association found that people who drank two to three cups of caffeinated coffee per day had a significantly lower risk of developing dementia. Similar results were found for those who drank one to two cups of caffeinated tea daily. Decaffeinated coffee, however, was not associated with a lower dementia risk — suggesting caffeine itself may be driving the benefit.
