Residents on Paint Lake battle flooded yards

Homeowners on Paint Lake in Oakland County are dealing with flooded yards and basements after weekend rain pushed lake levels higher.  “It’s painstaking,” said Yvonne Dudley, whose crawl space was taking on water. “It’s heartbreaking to see this happen.” Yvonne’s family has owned their home on Paint Lake since the mid-1960s. She's been documenting each flood in a binder with photos and dates. The resident said the worst was in 1975, when the home she lives in was completely surrounded by water.
