Cheboygan dam water nears critical level, residents told to prepare

As of Thursday evening, water now sits just 5.04 inches below the top of the Cheboygan Dam. This means water rose .24 inches since this morning's check. Residents in the flood zone are officially in the "SET" zone. This means they should be packing their cars and pets.
