Videos show Hamtramck kidnapping, arrest

Donald James Joseph Arthur Fields, 48, is facing multiple charges after allegedly kidnapping a 16-year-old girl in Hamtramck on April 13. Fields allegedly kidnapped the teen at gunpoint and forced her into his car. Hamtramck police released new videos on Thursday, showing surveillance video capturing the moment the teen was abducted, as well as bodycam and surveillance video at the gas station where Fields was arrested. Police previously released bodycam video of Fields' arrest, but his face was blurred pending his arraignment. Fields was arraigned on kidnapping, criminal sexual conduct and weapons charges on April 16.
