Metro Detroit restaurant owner hit with federal charges

A Metro Detroit restaurant owner is facing federal charges for illegally employing and harboring immigrants who were in the country illegally. Yong Ni owns three Kyoto Japanese steakhouse restaurants - two in Shelby Township and one in Royal Oak. In a federal indictment filed this week, he's accused of illegally employing undocumented immigrants while allowing them to live in his homes.
