Go 4 It Award goes to 2 teens spreading hope through Detroit-area cancer wards

Detroit Catholic Central seniors Jackson Leiter and Lucas Kramer have been recognized with the Go 4 It Award for their initiative, Baskets of Hope, which delivers care baskets to cancer patients at Providence Hospitals. The baskets, containing items like blankets, snacks, and games, aim to bring comfort and joy to patients undergoing treatment. Inspired by personal experiences with cancer in their families, the teens have assembled over 130 baskets and received gratitude from both patients and donors. Their efforts have inspired community support and discussions about continuing the project after graduation.
