Love 'The Princess Bride'? This new Ann Arbor play brings epic sword fights to the stage

If you love the action of The Princess Bride or the sword fights of Game of Thrones, there's a new show in Ann Arbor that brings that kind of excitement to the stage. And it's something fun to do that's indoors while we're dealing with all this smoke. Athena opens this weekend at Theatre Nova. It combines live stage combat with the story of two teenage fencers chasing their dreams of the junior Olympics, while navigating friendship, rivalry, and growing up. It's better to see these fights than describe them. The cast joined Local 4 in-studio.
