Go 4 It: Recycle old electronics and help protect endangered gorillas

We use electronics every day, but some of the minerals inside them are mined right next to gorilla habitats. Now the Detroit Zoo and Local 4 are teaming up to turn your old electronics into real help for endangered animals. Our GO 4 It event is called “Gorillas on the LINE,” a recycling challenge run by Gorilla Safe —saving animals from extinction. Zoo keepers say that by recycling old tech, we can help keep miners out of gorillas' homes.
