Boiled water advisory lifted for Commerce Township, Walled Lake following water main break

A boil water advisory has been lifted for Commerce Township and Walled Lake. However, Wixom continues to remain under the advisory. On Sept. 25, a 42-inch transmission water main on 14 Mile Road, just west of M-5, ruptured, causing many communities in the surrounding areas to experience low water pressure or have no water at all. It also led to boil water advisories being issued in Oakland County.
