Severe storms bring chance of tornadoes back to Metro Detroit on Tuesday

Metro Detroit under a Slight Risk (2 out of 5) on our severe weather scale as we work through the day on Tuesday. Damaging winds above 60 mph, as well as large hail, will be the primary threats, along with heavy rainfall into Tuesday. Once we get to the afternoon and evening, there will be enough shear in the lowest few miles of the atmosphere that we may have enough "spin" to have the chance of an isolated tornado.
