DETROIT – Who has the best ice cream in Metro Detroit? The votes are in, and we have a winner!

Holy Cow! Creamery in Wyandotte is the winner of this year’s Vote 4 The Best category for best ice cream in Metro Detroit.

Here are the results for the top five:

  1. Holy Cow! Creamery in Wyandotte.
  2. Erma’s Original Frozen Custard.
  3. Wally’s Frozen Custard in St. Clair Shores.
  4. Cook’s Farm Dairy in Ortonville.
  5. Cathy’s Homemade Goodies in St. Clair Shores.

Congrats to our top five, as well as the rest of our finalists:

  • Doug’s Delight in Hazel Park.
  • Hippy Dippy Creamery in Marysville.
  • Screamers Ice Cream in Sterling Heights.
  • Sweet Treats Station in Woodhaven.
  • Taylor Queen Ice Cream Shop in Taylor.

This year’s Vote 4 The Best received more than 93,000 votes during the finalist phase, with Metro Detroiters supporting their favorite restaurants, venues, and local businesses in 80 different categories.

Our winner reveal week began Monday, Aug. 11, and continues through Friday, Aug. 15. The full list of winners will be released Friday morning on our Vote 4 The Best page.
