Nicer heat across Metro Detroit

Highs in the mid and upper 80s

DETROIT – A much nice heat around Metro Detroit on your Tuesday. Morning lows are dipping into the 60s and even upper 50s in the cooler spots with some morning clouds fading.

Plenty of sunshine and highs gently warming back into the mid and upper 80s. Some neighborhoods west of Detroit could see 90° but with a NE wind part of the day, cooler temps expected on the east side.

We’ve got another Severe Weather Radio Day at the Meijer in Westland and hope to see you there!

Wednesday will be a bit more humid with highs taking off into the upper 80s to near 90 degrees again feeling even warmer. We start with sun and then increasing afternoon clouds. Shower chances over the next few days are greatest late on Wednesday into early Thursday. And then again on Thursday night into early Friday. New model data suggests a dry weekend in the low to mid 80s.
