There are lots of opinions about what constitutes a “nice” Halloween. My criteria is pretty simple: a dry day, with temperatures warm enough that the kids don’t have to wear jackets over their costumes (or seventeen layers underneath, which messes up the fit), but cool enough that they aren’t schvitzing in those costumes. Today’s weather will edge slightly toward the cool side of things, but not too bad…the important thing is that it’ll be dry!
Expect mostly sunny to partly cloudy skies today, with highs in the low 50s (11° Celsius for our Canadian friends).…great weather for those elementary schools having Halloween parades around the neighborhood. Wind will be light, too!

REMINDER: this coming Saturday night we set our clocks BACK one hour before going to bed, as the nation shifts from Daylight Saving Time back to Standard Time. Enjoy that extra hour of sleep!
