Clouds will be increasing Sunday night. Overnight lows will be in the low-30s.

There will be a mix of sun and clouds to greet students and workers Monday morning. By Monday afternoon, those clouds produce some rain ahead of a cold front. It remains warmer than average. Afternoon temperatures will be in the mid-50s.

Monday night and Tuesday morning remain milder than average with temps in the 40s. So, rain remains in the forecast for the Tuesday morning rush-hour. By Tuesday afternoon, a cold front passes and the mercury drops quickly by evening.

An Arctic blast arrives for Wednesday and the rest the week. Wednesday morning starts with temperatures in the 20s and wind chills in the teens the single digits. Wednesday afternoon will barely make it above 30°F.

Snow showers are possible Thursday and Friday,  and the northern Canadian air remains over the Motown area. Daytime temps will be between 30-35°.

Sunshine returns next weekend, but keep heaters and extra layers of clothing at the ready. Highs will be in the mid-30s.
