No rain chances through the weekend

DETROIT – Scattered high clouds will result in partly sunny conditions today as we rise into the mid-70s. The warm-up ensues through the weekend along with the drier conditions. As temperatures rise into the 80s Friday through Monday, we will get close to record highs.

October 3: 89º (1953)

October 4: 89º (1951)

When will we ever see rain? Well we finally have a chance! A cold front pushes through the region Tuesday night. Ahead of it will be the first chance of precipitation since last week. The potential for rain exists Tuesday and Tuesday night. This front will also bring a much cooler, Canadian air mass into the region.
