DETROIT – It’s a frigid start to your Monday with wind chills in the teens.
Cold conditions persist today with highs in the low to mid-30s with wind chills feeling ten degrees cooler throughout the day.
Lighter lake effect snow showers bands will continue through this evening mainly across the Thumb and on the west side of the state. The Metro Detroit area will be partly to mostly cloudy today.
We stay below average through midweek. We will have highs in the upper 30s on Tuesday with a chance for a passing snow shower in the late afternoon/evening.
A warming trend will ensue with highs in the 40s on Wednesday and seasonal low 50s to end the week. Sunshine returns for the second half of the week with rain chances building in on Sunday.
