Jayru Campbell, the Cass Tech quarterback who body slammed a school security guard, will be reporting to jail on Monday.

Campbell will be serving a 57-day sentence for the incident.

Cass Tech football coach Tom Wilcher says Cambell will remain on the team.

However, the jail sentence will force him to miss the first few football games this fall.

Earlier this month, Jayru announced he will no longer be committing to play for Michigan State University.

In January, Campbell was arrested after a video surfaced, showing him body slamming the school security guard.
