Sexual assault at University of Michigan

Suspect remains at large

ANN ARBOR, MI – At about 8pm Friday night, a University of Michigan student was attacked while jogging near the Nichols Arboretum.

According to campus police, the victim was running down the path at the Geddes St entrance of the Nichols Arboretum, when an unknown male grabbed her arm, pulled her to the ground, punched her in the face and sexually assaulted her.

The victim was able to break free and run out of the Arboretum, and the attacker fled. The suspect is described as a white male in his 20's, taller than 5'7", average build, brown hair and wearing a black sweatshirt.
