Sketch released in string of Washtenaw County home invasions

The Washtenaw County Sheriff's Office has released the sketch of a teen who is wanted for questioning in connection with a string of violent home invasions.

The office said there were four incidents in two days:

At several of the scenes, a teenager knocked on the door of the home while two adult men hid nearby. Once the door was opened, all three suspects charged into the residence, the sheriff's office said.

The suspects then restrained the victims while they searched for money, jewelry, and electronic devices.

The sheriff's office said the victims appear to have been specifically targeted based on their Asian or Asian-Indian descent.
The intruders are described as black males with Caribbean/African accents, wearing gloves, dark clothing and had their faces concealed. They were armed.

Anyone with information related to the home invasions or who recognizes the teenager in the sketch can call the Washtenaw County Sheriff's Office Confidential Tip Line at 734-973-7711 or Crime Stoppers at 800-SpeakUP.
