Deputies said Francisco's girlfriend told them she showed up at the house with her brother to retrieve her belongings after finding Francisco with another woman.

While moving items out of the home, Francisco produced a semi-automatic handgun and discharged one round near the brother, deputies said. Francisco then pointed the gun at the brother's chest, before pointing the gun at his own head threatening suicide, deputies said. The girlfriend and the brother got out of the house without being hurt.

Deputies and a SWAT team spent several hours around the home -- and evacuated residents-- trying to get to Francisco. It was eventually determined that he had destroyed his cellphone and fled the home.
