Warm Sunday evening with hotter air later

Temps in the 70s overnight

DETROIT – After a very warm Sunday afternoon, the evening will have temps fall through the low 80s and 70s. Skies will be partly cloudy overnight with lows near 70. Some people may need their air conditioner running through the night to stay comfortable.

Monday and the rest of the work-week will be hotter and more humid with highs 90 degrees or more and heat indexes in the mid and upper 90s. Skies will be mostly sunny Monday, and each day will have a slightly greater chance of afternoon showers and thunderstorms.
