ANN ARBOR, Mich. – The University of Michigan's engineering campus will host MHacks IV starting on Sept. 5, bringing students together from around the world for a 36-hour hackathon.
Some 1,000 hackers are set to arrive in Ann Arbor around 6 pm. Opening ceremonies will be followed by hacking from 9 p.m. until 10 a.m. Sunday.

In those 36 hours they hope to create and innovate by bringing sponsors, students, and technology together to turn ideas into actual product, using some of the latest technology.
There are no assignment guidelines.
What each hacker chooses to build is up to them.
Students who have never been to a hackathon will have the opportunity to learn code and create something new through the MHacks Gateway program.
MHacks Gateway partners with MakeGamesWithUS to provide new hackers with free use of the online iOS academies.
The technology showcase will include a Tesla, Android Wear and Myo.
Alex Ohanian, co-founder of Reddit.com, will be one of the keynote speakers for the event.
The top first-time hacker team from MHacks will receive an all-expenses-paid trip to Berkeley's Cal Hacks in Oct.
