Applications are open through April 30 on the Digital Summer Clinic website. The internships aim to help participants find careers in regional digital industries by offering practical experience in digital tech and marketing, a chance to connect with industry professionals and mentors and guidance on how to develop a professional portfolio.

Each internship lasts nine weeks from mid-June to mid-August. The placements will be remote but depending on conditions, in-person engagement may become an option.

Majors of clinic interns include business, communications, computer science, media arts and more.

Interns will be paid $15.51 per hour and will work 10 hours per week in teams of two with Ann Arbor SPARK’s high-tech incubator companies. Projects will include content creation, developing websites and apps, social media and advertising.

According to EMU, 75% of interns that participate in the summer internship program go on to have careers in tech in Southeast Michigan at firms like Google, General Motors, iProspect, Career Now Brands and more.

The Digital Summer Clinic is funded by Ann Arbor SPARK. For more information, visit www.digitalsummer.clinic.
