ANN ARBOR – The City of Ann Arbor has shared its Thanksgiving holiday schedule and several services will be impacted.

On Thanksgiving Day there will be no curbside collection of trash, recycling or compost in the city. Those who normally have their waste picked up on Thursday will have a Friday pickup during the holiday week. Those whose normal pickup day is Friday will be serviced on Saturday.

All city municipal offices will be closed Nov. 25-26, which includes Larcom City Hall’s customer service center and the 15th Judicial District Court. However, utility operations and safety services will continue to operate around the clock on these days.

Seasonal compost collection will end on Dec. 17 for the season. This allows residents an opportunity to place compost, fall leaves and other yard debris on the curb for collection. Leaves placed in the street will not be collected, per city policy.
