Ann Arbor hosting Visit Every Park Celebration on Sept. 9

ANN ARBOR – The city will be hosting an event to celebrate its Visit Every Park Challenge on Sept. 9 downtown at Liberty Plaza.

From 6-8 p.m., community members are invited to enjoy an evening of live Reggae and Soca music from a steel band and participate in a trivia about the Ann Arbor parks.

The Visit Every Park Challenge encourages residents and visitors alike to explore the city’s 162 park properties.

Participants who visit a certain number of parks can win prizes. Here’s what you can win:

  • 25 parks: Visit Every Park T-shirt
  • 50 parks: Trash trailblazer kit
  • 75 parks: Mini first aid kit
  • 100 parks: Umbrella
  • 150 parks: Binoculars
  • 161 parks: Earn a picnic basket

Prizes can be picked up at the Give365 office at 1519 Fuller Road.
