ANN ARBOR – It’s official, Tree Town is THE best city to live in within the entire United States in 2023.
The determination comes from a collection of expert survey results by research website StudyFinds.

For their “Best Places To Live In The U.S., According To Experts” list, StudyFinds editors looked at cities named on 10 different expert lists of top spots to live across the US. Data came from sites including Business Insider, Money, Travel + Leisure, Livability and Moving Waldo.
The most frequently reviewed cities were then ranked into the top five.
Ann Arbor tops the list along with Raleigh, North Carolina in second place; Huntsville, Alabama in third; Fayetteville, Arkansas at fourth; and Colorado Springs, Colorado as the fifth city.
Business Insider editors said this about Tree Town:
“Home to the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor is primarily known as a college town but is attracting more full-time residents downtown and along its outskirts. Born in the mid-1800s, the city is set among hills, with the Huron River running through it.
Residents will find plenty to do outdoors throughout the year, from kayaking to ice skating. More than 90% of residents live within 10 minutes of a public park by walk, according to the Trust for Public Land.”
Ann Arbor often makes “top cities” lists, including this one by U.S. News & World Report for best Michigan city, this one by CDP for environmental leadership, and this one by Rocket Homes for its dog-friendliness.
