Ford announces iconic Bronco is coming back in 2020

DETROIT – Ford announced Monday the iconic Bronco SUV is returning in 2020.

The automaker made the announcement at the 2017 North American International Auto Show at Joe Louis Arena in Detroit.

The Bronco, along with the new Ranger, will be built at the Michigan Assembly Plant. Watch Ford's Bronco announcement above.

It's a bit of a tease since Ford did not reveal any images of what the SUV may look like. Ford built the Bronco "multi-purpose vehicle," which is now what we call SUVs, between 1966 and 1996. It was built at Ford's Michigan Truck plant in Wayne, Mich.
