MACOMB COUNTY, Mich. – Kim Mathers, ex-wife of Detroit rapper Eminem, appeared in court on Thursday after violating her bond conditions.
Mathers, 51, of Chesterfield, appeared in court on Aug. 13 after prosecutors said the tether company reported she was repeatedly violating her bond conditions and requested that she be taken to county jail.
Before Thursday’s hearing, Mathers turned herself in to the 42-2 District Court in June after failing to appear for three hearings stemming from two separate drunk driving cases.
She is also facing an OWI charge in Chesterfield Township. On June 29, she was given a $5,000 personal bond.

Mathers’ attorney said Mathers made arrangements for treatment and asked the judge to voluntarily allow her to appear and submit to treatement. The prosecution responded by saying Mathers failed to enter a treatment program for two months.
Judge William H. Hackel III revoked Mathers’ bond and said she would be released from jail if she is placed in an inpatient facility.
