WATCH: Waymo unveils autonomous minivan at 2017 Detroit auto show

DETROIT – Google's Waymo revealed significant progress toward self-driving vehicles, showing off a self-driving Chrysler Pacifica at the 2017 Detroit auto show on Sunday. 

John Krafcik, CEO of the Waymo division, said Google has cut the cost of sensors needed for self-driving cars by 90 percent with the goal of making autonomous driving available to millions of people.
