LAKE ORION, Mich. – General Motors, in partnership with DTE Energy, will break ground on a new 345-kilowatt ground-mounted solar array at the Orion Assembly plant in Lake Orion Monday. Representatives from General Motors and DTE Energy will be on hand to discuss the project and take part in a ceremonial groundbreaking.

The event begins at 10 a.m. GM Foundation Plant City Grants will also be awarded to the Boys & Girls Club of Southeast Michigan - Orion/Oxford and Pontiac Clubs, Oakland Livingston Human Service Agency, CARE House of Oakland County and Clinton River Watershed Council.
