Entercom merges with CBS Radio; 6 Detroit stations affected

DETROIT – Entercom Communications announced Friday it completed its merger with CBS Radio Inc.

With a nationwide footprint of 235 stations, Entercom said it will engage over 100 million people weekly with a premier collection of highly-rated, award-winning radio stations, digital platforms and live events.

In the Detroit market this includes the following CBS radio stations:

  • 97.1 -- WXYT-FM
  • 104.3 -- WOMC-FM
  • 950 -- WWJ-AM
  • 1270 -- WXYT-AM
  • 98.7 -- WDZH-FM
  • 99.5 -- WYCD-FM
