Beloved Mel Bar in Melvindale to close after 65 years Bar on Allen Road to close after decades in business
MELVINDALE, Mich. – A beloved bar in Melvindale stood the test of time because of its people, but now it's getting ready to close after 65 years.
The Mel Bar has been in business on Allen Road for decades, but next Saturday, its era will end.
Local 4's Paula Tutman visited the bar Wednesday and spoke to residents who said it will be sorely missed.
