19-year-old Detroit man accused of murder after shooting man during robbery
DETROIT -- Wayne County Prosecutor Kym Worthy’s office has charged a 19-year-old Detroit man with multiple felonies after he allegedly shot and killed a 47-year-old man during a robbery Friday. Marquise Walker, was arraigned Monday on charges of one count of premeditated first-degree murder, one count of felony murder, one count of armed robbery, one count of carrying a concealed weapon, and three counts of felony firearm. Walker was arrested Friday night following a police investigation into a shooting at a gas station in the 8820 block of Wyoming Avenue. Police were called to the scene around 5:46 p.m. for reports of a shooting victim. It is alleged that Walker robbed Gowens at gunpoint and at some point during the robbery, produced a gun and shot the victim once before fleeing.

Gunn manages the Bridge Unit of the Wayne County Roads Division and has been employed by Wayne County for 34 years. Wayne County receives over $20 million in federal funds annually to pay for road repairs, construction and maintenance, according the release. “The alleged actions of these individuals are nothing short of disgraceful,” Wayne County Sheriff Raphael Washington, said in a statement.

Lambie was found inside of a home in the 9020 block of North Martindale Street in Detroit Monday. Police were called to the residence for a wellness check around 9:15 a.m. and discovered Lambie unresponsive with a stab wound to her chest. Prosecutors allege Lockett stabbed Lambie on April 15 and the body was not found for three days.
