Businesses, neighbors fed up with water leak that’s flooding some of Detroit’s east side
Water leak started in February

DETROIT – One of the oldest potteries in the country, along with its neighbors, has been impacted by a massive water leak on Detroit’s east side.
Pewabic Pottery has experienced damage due to the wet mess and the headache dates back to February when water was everywhere near Water Works Park.

Local 4 was told that the issue of the water leak is caused by human error from a crew who had been working down the street from the area. GLWA said they have been attempting to plug the leak and isolate the main pipe in order to stop the flow of water. They are issuing a repair plan for the area.
