Longtime host Matt Shepard fired from WDFN sports radio show

DETROIT – Longtime sports radio host Matt Shepard has been let go at WDFN 1130-AM.

Shepard has been with WDFN since 2001, hosting the sports morning show.

The layoffs are likely part of cuts across the board for iHeart Media.

As you can tell, my show is no longer. I thank the listeners (friends) for the support and conversation over the yrs. It's been an honor.
