It has been a dry week across Southeastern Michigan, and it looks like that trend will continue for the next day or so before we bring chances for showers and thunderstorms into the forecast.
Sunshine will continue from Thursday into the end of the week on Friday, but we will bring a little more cloud cover into the forecast by then.
High temperatures will warm into the upper 80s by Thursday and Friday, and it will feel more humid as we work through the end of the week.
Chances for showers and thunderstorms roll into the forecast by the time we get to the weekend.
Expect rain showers to return to the forecast late Friday night and stick around with thunderstorm chances by Saturday. High temperature is dropping in the middle 80s by Saturday afternoon.
Some good news for the weekend forecast, we will dry things out and bring some sunshine back into the forecast for the end of the weekend. High temperatures will remain in the low 80s by Sunday afternoon, then drier weather returns to the forecast.
And High is remaining in the mid-80s by the start of next week on Monday.
The data suggests we will see an increase in heat over the next week.
