‘One More Light' tour canceled after death of Linkin Park lead singer Chester Bennington

CLARKSTON, Mich. – Linkin Park’s “One More Light” North American tour has been canceled after the death of frontman Chester Bennington.

Linkin Park and Machine Gun Kelly were set to play DTE Energy Music Theatre in Clarkston on Aug. 7.

The tour released this statement:

“We are incredibly saddened to hear about the passing of Chester Bennington. The Linkin Park One More Light North American Tour has been canceled and refunds are available at point of purchase. Our thoughts go out to all those affected.”

Bennington died Thursday of an apparent suicide.

The band tweeted a photo in memory of the 41-year-old singer Thursday evening.
